- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪They went down hill. They are very incompetent right now. That or they just hate our guts for some unknown reason. We are very gracious people but we do have limits. Issues with Ronnie Smith insurance agency include: their cancelling our insurance policy without our confirmation, not informing us of our options after a horrific accident (we found out through an agent giving us a quote elsewhere), taking nine months to get us a refund on a truck we sold and had paid insurance on for the full six months, not effectively and efficiently taking care of an issue with the DMV due to a serious mistake made by the agent ( it took months for her to straighten out, with the DMV, why she cancelled our insurance for a month or two without our knowing it ) and the straw that breaks the camel"s back is ............drum roll please.......... not issuing homeowners insurance documents to underwriting in a timely fashion causing us to have to ask for an extension and push back our entire lives waiting on them to do something that doesn't take nine days to do. We changed agents and they got all the documents in the very same day submitted. We should have known seeing as how they have had so many delays in our dealings with them before and the agent wouldn't even take our calls a few times due to being "busy." Nor did she attempt to call back. It would be different if we were of the sort that give folks a hard time by being persnickety. That's just not the case though. We normally don't even write bad reviews. I had to make an exception here. I also understand it's our own fault for continually trusting them after so many problems. However, if we hadn't I wouldn't have been able to write such a glowing review for you folks out there. I just hope they get better for their own sake and the sake of those still in their care.
